How to become a provisional member of FLAXA
The Footwear Leathergoods & Accessories Exporters Association (FLAXA) is the recognised trade body that represents most of the major export-oriented manufacturers & exporters of footwear, leather goods & Accessories in Bangladesh.
The fundamental objective of FLAXA is to establish a healthy business environment for a close and mutually beneficial relationship between the local manufacturers & exporters of leather footwear & leather goods and foreign buyers.
We would like to transpose Bangladesh leather sector as prominent investment options to rest of the world by instilling core beliefs such as a full compliant workplace to all our members.
For Getting provisional membership of FLAXA a company shall have manufacturers of Footwear, Leathergoods or Accessories. And it is must that the company must be at least 80% export oriented.
After fulfilling these criteria a company need to submit the following legal documents along with 83,950 BDT (for Limited Company) and 66,700 BDT (for the Proprietorship Company) through FLAXA Smart Solution (https://smartsolutions.flaxa.org.bd/register) and also submit a full set of required documents to FLAXA. After submitting all legal documents, our compliance team conducts an assessment to the factory. If everything meets with FLAXA standard then your factory entitled for our provisional membership.
Please note that Provisional membership certification will take 21 days from the submission of the legal document by checklist.
